Abutilon Blooms

My three Variegated Abutilons (Abutilon pictum 'Thompsonii') have started blooming.  There were a few apricot-colored blossoms back in the spring, but no more until this batch.

Unlike the sprawling 7+ foot tall Marilyn's Choice Abutilon (which has also been blooming), the Variegated Abutilon's height stayed under three foot.  Its yellow-speckled foliage is what first caught my attention, but having small clusters of blooms is certainly an added bonus.

• Bleeding Heart Vine (Clerodendrum thomsoniae): finally got around to planting the cuttings given to me by Robin from Getting Grounded; it will be spending the winter in the pop-up greenhouse.
