Flowering kale may be a "flower wannabe" but they do brighten up the winter landscape, don't they? In upstate New York, we have nothing in bloom outdoors right now but in February f 2011, I visited Brooklyn (two zones higher than us) and saw a lot of flowering kales used in the urban landscapes. Happy GBBD.
ReplyDeleteColor and texture, Looking Good. Love the viola, seeing lots of those today throughout Bloom Day.
ReplyDeleteHurrah for the aloes and their winter blooms.
ReplyDeleteWhat lovely colors in your garden! I'm hoping some volunteer violas will germinate after the rains; it is one of my favorites.
