your garden looks like a hummingbird paradise. I am glad I stopped by. Lovely post.
ReplyDeleteNice blooms RBell. Is this early for the beautyberry to be making such colorful berries? I added one last fall and mine is looking like yours. For some reason, I expected them to ripen later in the season.
ReplyDeleteI checked back through previous year's GBBDs: in 2011, they were turning purple in August; in 2010, they held out until September. So looks like Aug-Sep is gonna be the time (I always pictured them adding color to the winter garden, but mine are all gobbled up & gone long before the leaves have fallen).
DeleteVery nice. I love the Mexican honeysuckle. And, the beautyberry is just that....a beauty.
ReplyDeleteI swear, I never get tired of seeing Callicarpa...so beautiful!
ReplyDeleteWonderful vibrancy of the blue anise sage.
