New Plant in the Garden

Between digging and moving and trimming and more, I found time to plant my newly acquired Leopard Plant (Ligularia tussilaginea 'Aureo-maculata').

Over the years, I've unsuccessful tried several plants in this shady location between two waterfalls, and this is my next attempt.  I hope it does well because I like the splash of yellow spotted leaves.

Took a short break from my excavation project to actually place Hannibal's Dwarf Crinum into a garden bed and transplant a few others plants (not to mention remove several Nandina).

Meanwhile, the excavation pile continues to grow...

 And the area of exposed rock is still expanding...
